An incident has occurred on the University at Buffalo campus that may pose a continuing threat to the university community. This warning is provided so that you may take whatever action is deemed necessary for your safety.
University Police are investigating a series of burglaries that have occurred during the month of August. All of these incidents involve the victims leaving their dorm room unlocked or open and property was taken. In all of these cases the room was unoccupied at the time of the burglary.
All residents are reminded to keep their dorm room closed and locked, and report any suspicious activity to University Police right away.
University Police are continuing their investigation and have increased foot patrols in the dorms. If you have any information regarding these incidents, please call (716) 645-2222.
Members of the community are urged to be vigilant at all times.
Report any unusual circumstances or suspicious persons/activities to University Police as soon as possible.
