University Police are investigating an assault that reportedly occurred on the South Campus grounds at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Jan. 11. The victim reported he was knocked down and kicked by a group of individuals as he was walking from the South Campus train station towards Bailey Avenue. The suspects were described as a group of 12 to15 young black males wearing dark clothing.
Anyone who may have information helpful to the investigation are urged to call University Police at 716-645-2227
Members of the community are urged to be vigilant at all times. Report any unusual circumstances or suspicious persons and activities to the University Police as soon as possible.
Do not call 911 or University Police for general information during an emergency, as this will delay response to the emergency. This site will provide new details as quickly as possible.
