Fire crews dispatched earlier to the UB South Campus to investigate reports of smoke in UB’s Biomedical Education Building have determined that the source was an overheated fan in the building's ventilation system. Fire and safety officials have determined that it is now safe to return to the building.
Do not call 911 or University Police for general information during an emergency, as this will delay response to the emergency. This site will provide new details as quickly as possible.
