Alumni Arena and some adjacent parking lots will be closed during part of next week so that University Facilities can replace two electrical transformers on the roof of the building.
The Alumni A lot and approximately half of the Arena lot on the east side of Webster Road will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Oct. 10 and continuing through 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 14.
Alumni Arena will not open for business until 2 p.m. on Oct. 11 and Oct. 12; the building will be without power from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 12, although emergency power will be available.
All activities in the building during these hours have been cancelled. UB Athletics staff will work remotely.
The facility will resume its usual weekday operating hours of 6 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 13 and Oct. 14.
Do not call 911 or University Police for general information during an emergency, as this will delay response to the emergency. This site will provide new details as quickly as possible.
