Buffalo Police Investigating Off-Campus Incidents

Buffalo police are investigating incidents that occurred early this morning involving UB students. Each incident took place within the Heights neighborhood on Winspear and Lisbon avenues, near the South Campus, close to Main Street.

Two of the incidents were robberies, and the suspects were seen fleeing in a gold or bronze SUV. In the other incident, three female students were assaulted after leaving a house party and confronting a man who had stolen a cell phone from one of the students.

Members of the UB community are reminded to always stay alert to their surroundings and to be vigilant at all times. When possible, travel with other people or use the SBI Safety Services walk stations, Safety Shuttle or other UB transportation services.
