Buffalo Police Investigating Early-Morning Off-Campus Assault

Buffalo City Police are investigating an off campus assault that occurred on Sept. 16 at 1:55 a.m. on Winspear Avenue between Winridge Road and West Northrup in the City of Buffalo.

The victims, both UB students, report that they were walking back to their residence on Winspear Avenue when one of them bumped into an unknown male on the sidewalk. The unknown male was with approximately 20 other people who then attacked both victims. They were treated by paramedics at the scene and transported to the Erie County Medical Center.
