UB Police looking for information about suspicious person on North Campus

UB Police received a report of a suspicious person who was last seen in the Natural Sciences Complex (NSC) late Saturday morning.

Shortly before noon, a UB graduate student reported to UB Police that an unknown male followed them to a lab in NSC. The graduate student held the door to the lab shut while the unknown male attempted to pull the door open. UB Police report the graduate student continued to hold the door shut and shouted for the unknown male to leave, which he did. The graduate student was not injured.

The unknown male was described by the graduate student as a Black male with medium complexion, age in the 20s, 5’8” tall, short hair and no facial hair or acne. The unknown male was wearing a gray sweatshirt and beige shorts.

Anyone with information about this individual or incident is asked to call UB Police immediately at 716-645-2222.

UB Police urge members of the campus community to always be aware of their surroundings and to report any usual circumstances or suspicious persons to police immediately.
