Help for Those In Crisis
Feeling stressed, upset or depressed? Whether you are a student or a faculty or staff member, resources exist on campus to help members of the university community in times of personal crisis.
Resources for students
Counseling Services is staffed by trained mental-health professionals who can assist students in times of personal crisis. In addition to same-day crisis appointments, Counseling Services provides after-hours counselors-on-call.

Resources for faculty and staff
The Employee Assistance Program is a free, voluntary, information and referral service available to all UB employees, family members, and retirees, for any concern that impacts their lives on and off the job. After assessing concerns, it will provide individuals with a link to community service providers.
