University Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Sept. 23, 2012, at approximately 9:40 p.m. in the Fargo Quad parking lot on UB’s North Campus.
A female resident reported that after parking her vehicle in the southwest corner of the Fargo lot she was approached by a college-age white male wearing a dark hoodie who asked for her wallet. She did turn over the wallet to him. He fled into the woods in the direction of Hamilton Road and Audubon Parkway.
To protect yourself, remember to stay alert to your surroundings and always travel with other people. When possible, use the SBI Safety Services walk stations, Safety shuttle or other UB transportation services. Do not call 911 or University Police for general information during an emergency, as this will delay response to the emergency. This site will provide new details as quickly as possible.
