UB Police investigating forcible touching incident

University Police received a report yesterday (September 13) from a female concert goer who was forcibly touched by an unknown male while attending Fall Fest in Alumni Arena on Saturday, September 10.  The incident took place between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. while the victim was in the audience in the “blue zone” section on the floor. Several bystanders intervened to stop the suspect.

University Police are attempting to identify the suspect and ask anyone with information about the incident to contact Investigator Terri Banas at 716-645-8912.

The suspect was described as a college-aged male, approximately 5’7” tall, thin build, dark complexion, black hair, and who spoke with what the victim described as having an “Indian- or Middle Eastern-sounding accent.”  At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a gray T-shirt and dark gray or navy shorts.
