Police Searching for Three Suspects Who Accosted Student

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, a resident of Greiner Hall reported that while walking in Fargo Quad parking lot, he was accosted by three white males who pushed him to the ground, punching and kicking him. The victim was not injured in the attack but said that one of the suspects video-taped the incident with a cell phone.

The suspects fled the scene in a silver Honda Civic 2 door, with new blue-and-gold New York State license plates. The vehicle has a low spoiler on its back. The suspects’ vehicle is believed to have left the UB campus and was last seen on Hamilton Road heading towards Audubon Parkway.

University Police conducted a thorough search of the area and officers were assigned to remain in the vicinity overnight. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call University Police at (716) 645-2222.
