Norton Hall flooding update

Room 112 lecture hall (Woldman Theater) in Norton Hall is open and unaffected by the flooding; all other classrooms in Norton Hall are open as well.  No classes in Norton Hall have been cancelled.

Student Advising Services in 109 Norton Hall is closed today and will be relocated to 17 Norton Hall until further notice.  Students who have appointments today, March 6, 2017, will be contacted to reschedule.  All other appointments beginning Tuesday, March 7, 2017, will be held at their scheduled time in 17 Norton Hall. The Office of Student Conduct and Advocacy (formerly known as Judicial Affairs) in 9 Norton Hall is open but operations may be delayed.  Email UB-judicial@buffalo.edu for information about appointments or to schedule new appointments.  

Access to these locations may be limited; signage is posted on all levels to direct students.

All other offices on the ground floor and first floor of Norton Hall remain closed until further notice due to flooding caused by a sprinkler in an office in Norton Hall.  

UB Facilities crews are on site.  UBIT has switched some services to backup servers as a result of the flooding, and some UBIT services may be slow. To read more about the UBIT services impacted, see UBIT Alerts webpage.
